Hello and thank you for visiting my website I am a 32 year old Freelance Web Designer from North Yorkshire.
So, why choose me?
First and foremost working freelance means I have time to sit down and talk to you about your specific needs. I will listen to your ideas and help you get the absolute maximum from the website which we create.
If it would be more advantageous to you to consider an alternative form of advertising I will tell you, rather than selling you something that you do not need.
All of my websites are hand coded meaning that your website will not be a slightly different variation of the basic templates that seem to be cropping up everywhere on the internet these days.
To the right hand side you can see a couple of examples of some of my work. If you would like to see more please feel free to get in touch, and I will happily show you some.
SEO is now an important part of web design. All of my websites are built with onsite SEO
in mind. This is where the content of your website is geared towards specific keywords and keyphrases
that your target customers are likely to enter into the search engines.
For a small monthly fee I am also happy to do offsite SEO which is important for gaining and maintaing a better placement in search engine result pages (SERPs). This is done in a number of ways such as link building where the idea is to gain as many high quality relevant links to your site. For more information on SEO please feel free to visit my blog page.
The latest project I am working on is for the Hull based company Wide Range Services
who service, sell, and modify lifting and handling equipment. With a large array of stock items and projects that they
work on, WRS wanted a website which they could update themselves easily and efficently. It has been essential to create
a simple yet reliable content management system (CMS) that allows them to add, modify & remove various items and images
on their website.
The CMS system that I created also allows them to add news items to the home page, and put selected stock items in a latest deal offer which appear at the top of the randomised list of stock on the right hand side of each page. Also once an item is sold a simple check box is selected to display sold across the thumbnail of the stock item in question.
Along with this they wanted the user to have to have the abilty to easily email or print of a pdf version of each stock item so this has been coded into the website as well. I have been working closely with CS Design and Web who very kindly asked me to code the website based on their excellent design.
